The Great Detour
Before leaving Sadelia to make my way out of Missouri into Kansas, I want to tell about the Great Detour two days ago. Eric and I left the bike shelter in Tebbits and biked to North Jefferson, where the trail was blocked with sandbags. No problem! We lifted our bikes over and road on to Hartsburg, where we were told the trail wa four feet in water. We then found a county road to HWY 63. The problem wa that the county road was steep we loose gravel. We pushed, stopped to rest, and pushed more. Will add more later.

Is Eric still OK? There was no picture. This would make a great TV story - have you sent it to Oprah? Or Dr Phil? We are gathered around the computer here at home wishing you well. This is very exciting for us. The tunnel picture was very beautiful. Take care neighbors! This is very exciting for our whole family to be able to follow you.
