Congradulations - you were able to persue your dream. You pedaled over a thousand miles, so many miles that the rest of us can only imagine how it might be in our myopic minds. Nearly 3 weeks on the roads - thats a winner - welcome home.

You did a great thing, Richard... something most of us wouldn't have the guts to even dream.
My guess is that loneliness had to play a major roll in your decision. I hope that after some time to reflect that you'll write about the total experience... from the first time the idea crossed your mind (did people think you were crazy?!) to the end (when did you really know in your heart that you were going to turn around?), and of course, all the WONDERFUL moments in between.
You should have a real sense of pride in what you accomplished, Richard. Congratulations!!
