Good morning, Richard! I'm sitting in my comfy office chair resting my butt. I had a great time in Sedalia—the campus of state Fair Community College is beautiful—you’d love the P.E. building; it has an indoor track and reminds me of an expensive health club! And the contemporary art gallery on campus has three stories!
I met some very nice Sedalians. Some SFCC librarians foolishly let me in to the humanities building where a music prof. showed me around the music/theater/art buildings. Then the director of the art gallery mentioned above opened it for me so I could look around for about an hour.

Later I sat at Liberty Park and read, then went back into town and had lunch at the hotel (I charged it to your credit card!) And for the record, it was you who liked to eat the junk food; I just went along. (I actually put on four pounds.)
I tried to rent a car to get home, but no one in Sedalia rents cars one way. I then tried to rent a truck, but there was a two-day minimum—too expensive. So…I waited for the train.
The train was late (of course), but the ride home was N-I-C-E-!
I’ll doctor the photos I took of us so I look good and you look—well—I’ll make you look good, too (it will take all the photo-shopping I’m capable of, but I’ll pull it off). I’ll send them later.
You’d better start counting days across Kansas—they will all look alike.
Blog you later….
Eric
Don't listen to those slurs against Kansas! (Note I'm not saying they aren't true, just that they're slurry.) If you go through Ottawa, the university there is where my Dad set his college track team's (College of Emporia Fighting Presbies) half mile run record in 1937.
